Skin? Glowing. When using consistently, I found quicker recovery from acne marks, plumper skin, and a subtle, but visible glow. I think the consistency is key here. Will be re-reordering so I’m leaving a review.

Hydrating & Plumping
I’ll start with my skin type: combo leaning dehydrated ( thanks to type 1 rosacea) with somewhat sensitive skin. I’m 37F.I am loving this Peptide Mucin. I’m pretty into skincare, in general, but have always felt icky about snail mucin so this is a fantastic alternative. This product is really gentle, has not caused any irritation. It’s quite viscous, but not really sticky. I love that it does not have fragrance added. The scent is just the earthy smell of cactus (prickly pear) which I enjoy, personally. It dries down well, and layers so nicely with my other skincare products. I’ve been using it as part of my PM routine, but it did fine under my minimal makeup when I did test it during the day.The hydration it provides makes a big difference for me. If you struggle with dry skin, I think it would be a good addition to your routine. The plumping from the hydration helps my fine lines look less apparent. Makes my skin look more glowy. I’m honestly pretty impressed with the quality. Since a little goes a long way and it works so well, I do think the price is fair.

The scent is horrible
I had very high hopes for the Glow Recipe Prickly Pear Mucin. I could not have been more disappointed. The scent is HORRIBLE. I didn’t like it straight out of the bottle, but decided to try it on my face anyway, thinking I could ignore it. The texture is very similar to that of the original snail mucin products I usually use. It glides across my skin easily, and it feels nice at first. I started at my forehead and moved down. Once I got to my eyebrows, the smell was so overwhelming that I had to stop right there. I could not go any further. I gently cleansed my face, and placed the bottle back in the box where it had sat since. Glow Recipe has some excellent products. I especially like the watermelon scent. They somehow got this one wrong. Hopefully, they can change it up a bit.
