This lipstick is very luscious. I ordered velvet orange. it is smooth and not sticky. has no odor. the tube is very sturdy and feels like a expensive brand. It is to dark for me but Iwill order another shade that fits.

First matte lipstick I’ve used, but i thought the quality was pretty great. I ate a panera bread bowl (the whole bowl, yes) and it stayed on. Definitely matte.

Great color. Matte. Not giving it 5 stars because it has an awful burnt smell to it. Not a good thing being your lips are under your nose, it’s all you can smell and my husband didn’t want to kiss me because of the smell either.

#892 color is almost a dupe for Clinique Bamboo lipliner and like a reddish MAC Whirl
Mrs Aloha Friday used to be one of those dreaded “cosmetic girls” in fancy department stores and knows her stuff. She wanted this lipstick, and she looks great in it! She likes natural brownish lip colors without gloss, so she was excited to try it. The color was #892, Sweet Cinnamon. She said it felt very smooth, soft and creamy going on. It didn’t last all day, but it lasted for hours, and the way it wore off is what was her favorite part. She said it evenly faded away, it didn’t only wear off in the middle. Her least favorite part was that it dried out her lips, which happens with a lot of the long wearing lipsticks. This had a smell and taste, which she doesn’t care for, but they weren’t bad. She just prefers none, like she gets with high end cosmetics. She said it was like hazelnut coffee to her. So, not bad, just THERE. She said the scent and flavor did go away quickly. She summed up that for $8 as of this writing, the color is beautiful, the wear is good, the scent/flavor pleasant if you don’t mind it, and the dryness average for long wear mattes. If you like elf, nyc and lipsticks like that, you’ll have no problem with this. If you like Clinique, MAC, Lancome, etc., you may not care for it as much, BUT, when it comes to finding a good color and price, sometimes a dupe is just what you need. Worth a try for the price, could be your HG lipstick. Hey! I learned that HG in cosmetics means holy grail…cool! She just told me it was a YLBB color, which now I know means your lips but better! I’m now in the know. Inner sanctum. LOL :o)
