Like most waterproof matte lipsticks, these can be a bit drying over time. To keep the finish looking smooth, it’s best to use a lip balm about 10 minutes before applying.

Great value, moisturizing, beautiful colors
I like having color on my lips because without it, I feel like I look like the walking dead. I am very happy with finding this color collection.-One thing to note, is, I am sensitive to is the tastes of lipsticks. This doesn’t have an “off putting” kind of flavor, or smell, so I like that. It actually has a nice flavor as it is sitting on my lips.-Its texture has a beautiful, lightweight, moisturizing feel. Some matte lipsticks can feel dry or heavy. These keep my lips looking, and feeling moisturized. It has a matte finish without any extra shine or glitter.-The color selection is nice and simple so I can wear them versatily with different outfits.-these lipsticks have a strong color that applies nicely and smoothly. I feel that after the color is applied, it takes on more “life” as it seems to deepen a just little bit, as it melts into the skin.-It seems that it may resist water well but it can easily be wiped off while it’s still fresh. If it’s not touched too much, it lasts longer.I find it best to apply it when lips are fully dry, then let it sit untouched for at least 20 to 30 minutes.-No running, bleeding, or feathering.There is some color that stays behind, even if rubbed off a little bit. Some of the color remains, while my lips are tinted by the color.I drink coffee or tea all the time. So I am always patting, blotting, or wiping my mouth. I also wear a mask while working, and I will even apply an additional lip balm on my lips, which significantly lessens the staying power.This lipstick does actually keep long lasting, as it also depends upon how it’s worn. It won’t last for 12 hours, but I had worn it for at least 4 hours.I do like the moisturizing properties, their lovely colors, and the texture of these lipsticks. Very nice quality.At the time I’m writing this review, the price is more than a great value for this set of four.

Pigmented! Easy to Apply (after first use)
These lipsticks are very pretty. The colors are relatively close to the photo except for the most purple looking one, it is more like a pink/red type color, it does not pull purple on me at all. Keep in mind I have relatively pigmented lips. They are like a darker pink, getting close to red, meaning that I do not have pale colored lips or brown/tan type lips for reference. Anyway, these have good coverage and look very nice on the lips. They become creamy after the first use. Actually, when I first tried these out of the package I was actually about to give these a bad rating. They were extremely dry, didn’t want to apply to my lips, and exaggerated the lines in my lips tenfold. I was actually shocked at how bad they applied. Have no fear though because I think they must have had some weird coating on them or something. I tried again and they went on perfectly fine. Much creamier, highly pigmented, didn’t exaggerate the lines in my lips, and went on smoothly. I don’t know what the problem was the first time around, possibly some kind of coating or maybe the lip balm I used beforehand was too thin. Not sure, but they are very different now. I will say though that for looks, I would recommend putting a gloss on top of these. I think it makes them look better, because the colors are so bright and I do have natural lips, I feel like something looks slightly off without the gloss. They are still very pretty and pigmented, but I think the gloss smooths them out and makes them look a lot nicer than without.These are super easy to apply. The lipstick is thick enough that it’s not annoying to cover your lips evenly and easily. It is also thin enough to get smaller, more detailed parts of the lips. I also think it would be good for someone who has thin lips probably, since the lipstick is a lot thinner than a regular lipstick. This thinness also makes them great for travel. They fit into purse pockets nicely and are just tall enough so they sit close enough to the top of the pocket so it’s easier to find and they don’t get lost. Also would be good for keeping in a pants pocket, though I would never put a lipstick there because of body heat. You get a lot of lipstick in the tube as well, so this is a very good value.Beyond the coating, these are good quality. They have a more natural matte finish than a matte like a liquid lipstick would have. Therefore, while they are matte so they are somewhat drying, because they are a natural matte they are much less drying than a typical matte lip product. In my opinion, this may be why I feel that they look better with a bit of gloss. I feel like because they are so bright and pigmented that the finish doesn’t look as good on my lips that way, obviously this is absolutely personal preference and I do think many people could pull them off without a gloss. The lipsticks are decent quality, a good value, and overall I would recommend. Extremely pigmented. They can smudge but I felt they wiped away easily and didn’t mess up my makeup or anything. The thin size makes it very easy to do detail work as well. All the colors are nice and do look like the photos except for the purple one (on my skin and lip color). Easy to apply after the first use. I am very happy with these and they are worth the purchase.

Not long lasting.
This is a very affordable lipstick set & the quality definitely reflects the price point. The colors are pretty & wearable, especially if you like soft nude, pink & rose tones. They go on smoothly with a lightweight, comfortable feel.That said, they don’t last very long. I found that the color fades fairly quickly, especially after eating or drinking, so touch ups are needed throughout the day. If you’re looking for a budget friendly set for casual wear, experimenting with shades or keeping in a purse for quick reapplication, this is a decent option. Just don’t expect all day wear.
