GREAT for the face. You could use it on your shoulders and all but its pretty small so it would do several days at the beach if only used on your face but otherwise would maybe last a day or two if you used it on your whole body so be aware of that.Its really good for the face though and is moisturizing without being greasy or oily. The SPF50+ is great for a full down out in the sun at the beach, boating or at a pool or amusement park….while hiking, etc.A very nice smell that is not overwhelming. And I tried it while doing yard work last weekend in the 90 degree sun and I was the only one in my family who did not tan.Protects against UVA and UVB sun rays. Great for collagen production and reducing wrinkles so really its an everyday use sunscreen with benefits.I recommend it as a daily additive during the summer to protect your skin and help it be healthy. A little goes a long way.

Moisturizing, with a luminous glow once dry.
As someone with dry skin, I don’t shy away from creamy products like this. My initial thought was that it was zinc based since it looked very white, even once rubbed in. That white settled after some time though, leaving more of an iridescent glow. It was definitely moisturizing, but it didn’t feel greasy to me (I literally put oil on my face every morning though so my judgement may be skewed).A little larger than travel size products, but still small enough to fit very well in my purse. Its value is fair, going for more per ounce than some drugstore favorites like Neutrogena, but less than Eucerin.Since I’m unfamiliar with the brand and there isn’t any lab testing mentioned, I can only judge its SPF efficacy through my own experience. So far, so good, though I haven’t spent a long time in the sun with this on.

Lightweight sunscreen with no white cast
LOVE this sunscreen! The korean skincare and sunscreen is really on another level. The sunscreen is a nice 50 SPF and you can really wear it daily. It goes on smooth and didn’t leave any white cast on my face. It feels incredibly lightweight and non greasy. Even after rubbing it in, l my face and hands did not feel oily or greasy, which tends to come with other sunscreens I have used. While by touch I could tell places where I used the sunscreen and places where I did not, it was very subtle. It really blends in well, it does not feel heavy on the skin, in fact you don’t really feel like you are wearing anything after it dries. The skin still feels smooth. It also didn’t feel troublesome to put on, which makes it more palatable to wearing daily where as with other sunscreen in general, sometimes you just don’t want to bother with the white steaks or the gross or heavy feeling that comes with it. Overall my skin did not have any sensitivities or reactions to the prodcut. I was out in the sun and did not get sunburned, so I found it very effective.

What I ordered: Juland Sunscreen for Face, UV Defense Hydro Calming Sunscreen, SPF 50+, with Vitamin C, Moisturizing Daily Protection for Sensitive Skin 1.7ozWhat I received: As above.First off, the listing clearly states “fragrance free”.The ingredient list clearly states “fragrance”.My nose agrees.It’s not a strong smell, but I don’t want fragrance in my skincare and SPF, especially for the face.There are two active ingredients:Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate (also known as Octinoxate or Octyl methoxycinnamate) which is an unstable, old-school filter that has fallen out of favor.The second is good old zinc oxide.Hopefully the combination will provide more stability and better broad spectrum coverage.I ran the ingredient list through INCI Decoder and several ingredients are misspelled and some are considered undesirable. Perhaps a translation error, but either way the lack of accuracy is bothersome to me.This product does leave a faint white cast on my skin (as expected with the zinc oxide and no colorants added) but it’s not awful.It’s a weird consistency. Sometimes a bit runny sometimes a bit pasty. I think this is due to the combination of ingredients/formulation. Either way the inconsistency is bothersome.I am not trusting this product for solid protection on outdoor/sunny day use; I think it’s better suited for incidental sun exposure, and since it’s fragranced, mainly on non-facial areas such as my chest and hands.I still wear a sun hat and sunglasses no matter what.I’ve seen a lot of rave reviews… but for me, this is a low-quality product and priced appropriately. It is not one I’d recommend or repurchase.

Reliable SPF 50 Protection at a Great Price
I’ve been very pleased with the Juland sunscreen lotion. The 1.7 oz (50 ml) tube provides SPF 50 protection, which is essential where I live since the summers are extremely hot. I spend a lot of time outdoors, and since I started using this it has consistently protected my face from sunburn, even after hours in direct sunlight.My only complaint is that the tube is overly sensitive. If you squeeze it in the wrong spot, it tends to dispense more lotion than needed. I recommend holding the tube just below the cap, especially when it’s newly opened.The lotion has a light cream scent that fades quickly, and it applies smoothly without leaving residue or causing irritation. The manufacturer notes that it’s formulated for sensitive skin and is waterproof, and so far, that seems accurate. Overall, it performs just as well as more well-known sunscreen brands but at a much more affordable price.
