I’m on week 7 currently….THIS WILL CHNAGE YOUR LIFE. I have pale skin and brown hair. My arm hair is more blonde so I have only used this on my arm pits and bikini area where I have brown hair. I now barley have any hair and may spots are bald!!!! I didn’t use it correctly the first few weeks but now that I have it on the highest setting as of week 2 I have had it at the highest it works great!!! I will keep going till week 10ish since I messed up the first 2 weeks then I will just do maintenance. I will never go back to waxing or shaving! I have told many people about this and my mom and sister in law ordered! My sister in law is from India and has darker skin, this still works great on her!!!

Great design and easy Use, Still testing for long term results
I’ve had this device for over a month, but only recently started using it. I was previously relying on waxing, but wanted a cleaner, less messy alternative that could also help reduce ingrown hairs and cut down on salon visits. I let my hair grow out and shaved twice before beginning treatment, as recommended.One thing to note is that while it’s described as a “laser” device, it actually uses IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), so I’m still unsure how permanent the results will be. I plan to continue using it and will update my review to 5 stars if it delivers the long term results I’m hoping for.So far, I’m giving it 4 stars. This device looks high quality and is very easy to use, with a beautiful rose gold color and sleek body that feels comfortable to hold. It has six intensity levels, which makes it easy to adjust based on comfort, and it comes with a clear, well explained manual.For reference, I have medium South Indian skin tone with dark brown hair. Right now, I’m only using it on my legs and arms to test the results. If everything goes well, I plan to use it on more sensitive areas late

Easy to use and takes some time for legs
This is priced at $189 for the RoseSkinCo Lumi IPL device, so I wanted to leave a detailed and honest review based on real use. I have been using it for about three weeks so far. According to the instructions, you are supposed to use it twice a week for three months, then once a month for another three months. At this point, I have completed six treatments.First, the device itself is very easy to understand and use. It is lightweight and comfortable to hold, even for longer sessions. There are two main modes. One requires you to press the button each time the light flashes, and the other automatically flashes about once per second as you glide it along the skin. Both modes work well, and the automatic mode is helpful for larger areas like legs, although it still takes time and focus.It has 6 brightness settings. Working at level 6, it can sometimes get a little hot, but has never burnt me or left a mark. My skin has never looked irritated from a treatment.This is not a quick process. You need to be prepared to sit and concentrate, especially if you are treating larger areas. The light is extremely bright, so I highly recommend wearing dark sunglasses while using it. It also has a fairly loud fan that runs continuously. It reminds me of a white noise machine, not unbearable but definitely noticeable.As for results, after six treatments I have not seen a dramatic reduction in hair yet. That said, the hair does seem to be growing back a bit slower than normal. My 18-year-old daughter is also using the device, and she feels like her hair is coming in more patchy than before. At this stage, it is still a little too early to say how effective it will be long term, but we are both committed to finishing the full treatment schedule before making a final judgment.I will be including before photos with this review, and I am hoping to update it in a couple of months with more noticeable results. I have also included a video of me using the device so others can see how it works in real time.Overall, the RoseSkinCo Lumi IPL device feels well made, user friendly, and gentle on the skin. If you are patient and willing to stay consistent, it seems promising, but this is definitely not an instant results product. I think the real value will show closer to the three-month mark, and I plan to update once I get there.

I really like this FDA-approved laser hair removal device!I have been using the Lumi IPL device for about four weeks. The light is quite bright, and I’ve used it on the highest setting since I have very dark hair. I feel like I am seeing a slow reduction in growth rate, especially on my armpits.The device is really, really easy to use. Just press the button to generate a flash, or use it in the mode where it flashes routinely while you slide the device across your skin. It is shaped well to fit in your hand, and while it feels solid and durable, it’s not overly heavy.I haven’t had any irritation of my skin that lasts longer than an hour or so. It does get warm, so be aware of this. I believe that is where the redness comes from, is just the heat generated. There is no smell or noise, no “zapping” feeling or anything like that. It’s truly painless.Do be aware that this device is not recommended for very dark skin tones, or for some natural hair colors. If your hair root is gray, red or light blond/platinum, you will not want to purchase this item.I think that for an FDA-approved device, $189 is on the upper side of “reasonable.” Paying for hair removal sessions in a salon or spa would be much more expensive. This device is yours, so you can do touch-ups whenever necessary with no additional cost.

Works if you stick with it
I was a little skeptical at first, but after a few weeks I started noticing slower hair growth and thinner spots. It is not instant, you do have to be consistent, but it does make a difference. The device is easy to use and does not hurt, just a little warm feeling. I took off one star because it takes time and patience, but overall I am happy with the results so far
