What are the WiFi network requirements to connect to the Pura diffuser?
Pura diffusers use 2.4GHz WiFi networks because the 2.4GHz frequency has a longer range and can extend more easily through walls and through larger homes, creating a better experience for our users. Pura diffusers don’t support 5GHz WiFi networks.
What to do if my Diffuser is Offline?
Update your Pura app to the latest version – Errors and diffuser connectivity issues are often caused by old app versions. To ensure smooth experiences, we recommend you update your Pura app to the latest version.
How long should a fragrance last?
Together, smart vials and Puralast technology deliver a scenting experience of up to 120 hours, per fragrance vial. Using fragrance-specific data, accounting for the size of the room and your intensity, to scent your space.
I can’t smell my fragrances?
You may experience issues smelling your fragrance if the diffuser is placed near an air vent. Cool air can cause the smell of the fragrance to fall to the floor. Placing near an intake may cause the scent to be trapped in air filters.
Why can’t I smell my fragrance if there’s still a little bit of liquid left?
Our fragrances are created with an oil to effectively disperse scent. While fragrance life varies by scent, if you can’t smell your fragrance anymore and it’s been diffusing for over 120 hours, the oil that is left is just that—oil, not fragrance.

Modern fragrance plug in
I absolutely love my Pura plug-in fragrance diffuser! It’s such a simple way to make my home smell amazing without being overpowering. The scents are clean (my favorite is cozy cashmere), long-lasting, and you can easily switch between them depending on your mood or the season.One of my favorite features is that you can change the color of the diffuser—I didn’t expect to love that as much as I do, but it adds such a cozy, customizable touch to any room. It’s perfect for setting the vibe, whether I want something calming at night or a brighter feel during the day.Another huge plus is that you can adjust the intensity of the scent, which makes a big difference. Whether you want just a light, subtle fragrance or something a little stronger, it’s easy to control and personalize.It’s also super easy to use and feels much more modern than traditional plug-ins. I love these!
I loved my Pura tower diffuser so much I wanted to add more to my home, so I knew I wanted to grab a plug-in diffuser. I have an open floor plan, so I keep the tower in the living room and added this plug-in in my entry way/hallway. The set-up is so easy and I love being able to control scents through the app. If you have dogs and don’t want it to be obvious, these are perfect! With 3 dogs and a sensitive nose, my house could be so clean you could eat of the floor, the baseboards, the counters, the couch, and the toilet, and I’d still be able to smell “dog” – adding these to my home has made so much of a difference.They are a little pricey between the diffusers ($40-$80 each) and the scents (starting at $11+), so I’ve been working my way up to adding these throughout my home. So far, I can leave the scents running at a medium intensity and run each scent for 3-5 hours at a time and can get around a month and half to 2 months out of each diffuser. The value of these have paid off – if you’ve ever used Wallflowers from Bath & Body Works or any other type of plug in, you know that you could have 6 throughout the house and the scent is gone within a month.

Great programmable fragrance diffuser!
I have one in many rooms now. App is really easy to use, and you can program when to come on, the color that shines from the top and how powerful the scent is. Good range of fragrances available too. You can twist to fit any plug location and its fairly robust. Slightly more expensive than some more mainstream choices so it lost a star but you get what you pay for!

This fragrance diffuser system is a game changer. If you are a tech gadget nerd you will enjoy this addition to your smart home collection. I have diffusers in my car and all throughout my townhome – I can curate the scent of each. Parisian coffee wakes me in the morning and Cashmere starts during my wind down in the evenings. The cost of the cartridges is pricey, but after spending 12 hours in the hospital operating room I treasure being able to smell what I want to smell.. I am subjected to some horrendous smells at work.To offset the cartridge cost, you can time the diffusers to your schedule and choose a low/medium setting. The diffusers in the rooms I use the most need a cartridge about every 30-45 days (I don’t use my living room much so it’s just on long enough for me to walk through on workdays). My elderly mother lives with me and she enjoys being pleasantly surprised by “hotel smells” around the house. I have a Shih Tzu with a sensitive nose and he has shown no signs of irritation since there is no residue – my cold diffuser system sometimes made him sneeze.
