These little gumdrop shaped gummies contain: vitamin A (retinyl acetate and beta carotene), vitamin C (ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbate), vitamin E (dl-alpha tocopheryl acetate), niacin (niacinamide), biotin, sodium, glucose syrup, sugar, water, gelatin. And then less than 2% of mannitol, pectin, sodium citrate, palm oil, natural flavors, carnauba wax, citric acid, and added color (includes carmine).As you can see, they are sweetened with sugar, and I am assuming the glucose syrup.The strawberry flavor is not mind-blowingly wonderful, but neither is it untenable. It is just ok. I am not taking them for the flavor.The texture is more of a springy type of gummy – attributed to the gelatin and pectin.I don’t understand why there is palm oil added to these. They do coat the inside of the plastic container with a waxyish film.I love the gummy format for supplements since it makes them so much easier to take without needing a drink. These are no exception.As far as effectiveness – this is a supplement that you probably will not see immediate results. You do have to stick with it.As with biotin supplements, the manufacturer does provide the disclaimer that states: “Biotin may interfere with lab tests. If you are planning to undergo lab testing, are pregnant, attempting to become pregnant, nursing, taking any medications, or have any medical conditions, consult your physician before use.”
