Best product
This daily protective serum with sun protection is incredible! The clean ingredients are what make this product so perfect for me—I love knowing I’m using something safe and gentle on my skin. Holy Grail Sunscreen
Following up from my initial review, I’ve determined this sunscreen to be my holy grail. My biggest concern when I first used this was that I felt a tingling and slightly irritating sensation when I applied the sunscreen, although I didn’t get any breakouts. I realized that this formulation includes Vitamin C, and I already was using a vitamin c serum. After I used up my vitamin c serum, I started using the sunscreen, but I no longer experienced the tingling sensations. So I concluded that it must’ve have been the vitamin c in this formulation on top of the vitamin c I was using that caused a small reaction. So my suggestion would be to use this as your sunscreen AND vitamin c product in one, and don’t use a separate vitamin c product as it could potentially cause sensitivity. I do still wish this was SPF 30 but I do still think it’s a great sunscreen! Again, the serum consistency allows this to go on with a very minimal cast on my medium-tan skin, that looks more brightening than ashy. It sets to a natural slightly radiant finish. It’s not too oily for my oily skin, and just hydrating enough to feel good on my dehydrated skin. It also works very well underneath makeup (just make sure to let it set for a few minutes before going on to your makeup application). For application, I suggest going in layers, and instead of RUBBING it in your skin, gently PAT, SWIPE, and PRESS the serum on your skin. It takes 4 to 5 pumps to get the recommended amount of sunscreen for your face. All in all this has official replaced the sunscreen I was using, and I will continue to repurchase.

easy to use- thin but mighty
I love how easily this spreads and rubs in- I purchased it to use for my face, but have also started using it on my children as well! It feels thin, but that makes it easy to use and I have found it to work really well!

Great serum, but….
I enjoy how nicely this serum is absorbed by my skin. My skin appears more moisturized and brighter after applying it. However, if I use this daily (which I do), I go through it quite quickly. I think it should come in a 2 oz bottle verses 1 oz. I also don’t like how I need to shake the bottle before using the serum before each use. The price for 1 oz. should be more affordable.

Mad Hippie is always a win!
My skin is super sensitive and very fair. SPF is a must, but most facial sunscreens make my skin break out and look greasy. Mad Hippie is one of the few brands that agrees with my skin, so when I searched for a new daily SPF for the summer I was so happy to find this one. It is such a light formula that you barely feel it on your face, and it doesn’t leave a white cast or greasy appearance. You can wear it alone or under makeup. It has a very light natural scent. My favorite thing about it though is the vitamins— my skin looks SO healthy now! For the first time since I was a kid I’ve started going without foundation or bb cream most days so I can actually show off my complexion. I didn’t change anything about my skincare routine except this product, and I’ve seen a huge difference. Note: the SPF isn’t strong enough for long days in the sun, but for daily wear it is absolutely perfect. If you have sensitive skin, I highly recommend giving it a try!

This works well and is very light for sunscreen. As I sweat I notice I get slightly more acne when using this, but much less than typical sunscreen. I would buy this again when it runs out but I may still search for alternatives. I’ve only found one sunscreen so far that lasts a long time and doesn’t clog my pores. Unfortunately that one is pretty expensive, so this one is a good value for the money.

I love this product. I have very sensitive skin and this does not aggravate it. I do wish it came in a larger size as I wear it every day. It does have a distinct smell which some people might not like.
