I can now have my own hair removal device in the privacy of my own home thanks to Jovsbeauty. This device is super easy to use. You can actually smell the burning hair. Six different intensities, and five different modes for body types and thickness. Make sure you used this for the full eight weeks to notice the difference.Super easy to clean as well . Store it in your bag for another day. Love this !

Awkward device, can’t tell the difference between this and IPL
For years, I have used an epilator but have never once gotten true, smooth, hair-free legs. The best I could get was softer hairs. My best guess is because some of the hairs were breaking instead of getting fully pulled out. For reference, my leg hairs are light to dark blonde in varying thicknesses. I wanted to try an IPL-type device, but since they supposedly don’t work for lighter hairs, I didn’t think they would work for me. I have never had professional treatments done.I finally pulled the trigger on a cheap China IPL device and started using it on the right side of my body: leg, bikini line, and armpit. After 2 treatments, I could tell my right side was definitely less hairy than my left.Then this OPT showed up. From my limited research, it’s supposed to be “better”. For science, I ordered this OPT and once it arrived, started using it on my left.After a total of 3 treatments per side, OPT on the left and IPL on the right, they are identical in “hairiness”. So far I haven’t noticed that the OPT works any better than the IPL. Granted, I haven’t been using them as often as the recommendations, but I will continue using both “for science” and update my review if this changes.As for using this actual device, it’s awkward. The settings are easy to change. Too easy. I’ve simply had to remember to hold it close to the flashing end, otherwise, I end up changing from legs to armpits (for example). The intensity is easier to stay because it requires a twist instead of simply touching the control.The manual setting doesn’t work properly. After a dozen or so flashes (even when starting a treatment), it stops working for about 30 seconds or so. I don’t know if it’s because it’s too hot or what. However, it flashes just fine while using it in auto mode. My cheap IPL works much better at a 1/4 of the price.While I’ve only used both devices on my legs, armpits, and bikini line, the only sensation is a mild to moderate heat. No burning sensation. No snap. No pain whatsoever, even at the highest intensity level.Since I’ve only used epilators and one IPL and this OPT, I can only compare to those. I can’t tell a difference in the results between the IPL and the OPT, I can’t justify recommending this OPT for 4 times the price.

Not exactly what I expected
I expected way more of it because of it’s brand. It’s painless and came in a beautiful box which made feel good at first however my hair continues to grow. I don’t have much hair but I want to get away of it and I steel need shaving constantly. I lost the return period bc I’ve been hoping that it might work better. So far it has been disappointed.

Worth the Price
I hate shaving and this is worth the price I already notice a difference I had no hair growth over night like I usually do. The results are obvious, but it takes persistence. You have to shave first and then do the laser treatment. This comes with protective eye glasses a shaver too.

Wife approved!
I got this laser hair removal tool for my wife to hopefully lessen the frequency of her having to shave or wax. She has been using it for about a month now and it does work to reduce hair growth overtime. It seems redundant to shave before using this product, but that is part of the process with this tool. I thought the process would be much simpler and it is simple, but after reading the instructions and coming up with a plan of attack she has been happy to not have to shave as often. Unfortunately, I can see how some people would give up and not continue using this tool as it takes time for the effects to compound enough to see the real results. After reading the manual it is a simple tool with a fairly simple process to remove hair for long term, so it is “easy” to use, it is compact, and works well over time. Overall, my wife and I would say it is a good value.
