Just began skin care journey with Jellice, collagen tripe-tides! So far, loving this cream.
I feel like you need a good amount of time before leaving a review for any skin care item and it has only been a week since I received this so if my journey goes well, I intend to update (if I can) my review in a month from the usage began, but so far I am really enjoying this cream!I found out that Jellice cosmetics are coming to the US for the first time via Instagram and have been curious about “collagen tripe-tides” for some time. I didn’t feel much in the first few days, but a week into it, I started to feel changes to my skin. My skin seems softer and less bumpy. The clarity and clearness of skin seem to be improving. In addition, these changes make me feel easier/better when applying cosmetics. I also noticed the herbal scent. I don’t really like sweet, floral scent for cosmetics so I like this herbal, more earthy scent.I have used collagen peptides items, but not tripe-tides so I am excited to see how my skin improves in a month. Just to hope experience the full effects, I ordered their lotion, serum, and sheet mask too so let’s ee what happens in a month.

Pricey facial cream
This is a very nice cream. It is made in Japan and uses high quality ingredients. I like that it comes with a little boomerang spatula so you don’t have to stick your fingers in the jar to get the correct amount out for use. I use it as the last step of my nightly facial routine and I find it to be very hydrating yet not heavy on my skin. While it is a cream, it almost has gel-like properties and absorbs well leaving my skin feeling smooth yet not sticky. It has not caused any irritation or breakouts despite the fact that it is a great moisturizer.The only issues I have with this cream are the scent and the price. The scent kind of sneaks upon you. At first it is a very lovely rose scent but then morphs into almost a slightly burned plastic smell. The scent doesn’t linger for a long time but it was jarring the first couple of times I used it. While I have gotten used to the scent, I can’t say it is pleasant. The second issue I have with this cream is the price. It is pretty pricey for a 1 oz. jar. Now I realize that you pay for what you get and this is a very high quality product but it is just not sustainable for me to buy on a monthly or even bimonthly basis.Overall, this is a top notch facial cream that is gentle yet hydrating and can be used on most skin types. The scent and price make me give it 4 stars.

This cream is the best I’ve ever tried! I use it 2x daily with the toner first, then the serum (fantastic by the way!) and then the cream I will never use anything else!!!

Does not live up to the hype in my opinion
I’ve been using this JELLICE Advanced Concentrated Collagen Face Cream for a few weeks now, and I just haven’t noticed and remarkable differences. Like just about any skin cream, you rub it in and it feels good and you may still feel smooth and refreshed in the morning – for me though, the next night, you’re just back at square one. That’s the secret of the beauty industry – keep applying! Keep buying!! There’s no permanent effects unless you get some surgery. Yes, if you want to pay $100 a month to keep applying this stuff, I’m sure you’ll like the results every time you use it – and I know, that’s not what the product says it does – if it did, they’d go out of business. No miracles here though – just another seemingly good face cream with temporary results. A $5 bottle of lotion does the same thing.The scent is light and pleasant, which I like, but it could be a bit more subtle, as it lingers for a while after application. Also, while the cream is effective, I wish the packaging was a bit more airtight to keep the product fresh for a longer time. Overall, it’s a solid moisturizer that provides good hydration as it SHOULD BE for the price tag, but it’s not as transformative as anyone will hope in terms of collagen-boosting or anti-aging. I would still recommend it for daily moisture if you have the money, but if you’re specifically looking for a noticeable anti-aging effect, you might want to try something else if it exists.

Good quality moisturizer but too pricey
I like this facial moisturizer, not too heavy and not too watery. Ive noticed it plumps up the wrinkles around my eyes. the niacinamide gives a hydrating barrier so it lasts all day. since it is on the pricey side, I use this as a face mask and apply a thick layer and leave it on for about an hour then wash off with water only. It aborbs well so you still get the benefits. the jar is too small to justify paying fifty dollars every month but if you have a disposable income, id recommend using daily

Hydrating and evens skin tone
This cream hydrates very well without being too heavy or oily. It’s kind of a hybrid cream/gel consistency. I have finicky skin that’s often quite dry, especially in the colder months, and breaks out easily with little white heads. I have a hard time finding creams and lotions that hydrate well without breaking me out. This cream works very well. I typically use it at night only just because I have a lighter lotion that I use in the daytime under light makeup. When I wake up in the morning my skin still feels mostly hydrated and definitely more hydrated than with other creams. It rinses off well with warm water too, if you use a lot as a mask and it leaves a layer in the morning. It seems to really smooth my skin and even my skin tone out. I have been using it for about a week without breaking out or having any adverse reaction. The little scooper spoon thing makes it more hygienic to use than dipping fingers in the tub. It doesn’t have much of a scent at all and absorbs/drys very quickly. Highly recommend for sensitive and dry skin.
