As someone with self proclaimed wolf legs, I have always wanted permanent hair removal on my legs. Years ago I’ve looked into going to a clinic and getting it professionally done but once I heard how much it would cost me I believed that being hairless was going to stay a dream of mine. However when I heard about at home IPL devices I admit I was skeptical despite my background in cosmetology. After researching it like crazy and watching many videos of professionals talking about it and using it themselves I knew this was something I had to try.When looking for an at home IPL device there are a few things you should be looking for such asDoes it plug into the wall? Yes.Does it come with eye protection? Yes (however in the manual it said you could also use regular sunglasses and that is false. Regular sunglasses are better than nothing but aren’t the same as the provided eye protection needed to keep your eyes safe from such a light.)Does it flash when not in contact with the skin? No and that’s a good thing.This device has many of the green flags that are needed with an at home IPL device. Unfortunatly, I can’t say for certain if it is a good device or not because after using it for the third time on only one of my legs, I developed a reaction and broke out into a bunch of very itchy red bumps. I don’t know if this is the device’s fault or if this is just how my skin reacts to such a device…I wish I could say something more helpful, unfortunately though I can no longer use it.

Effective, not too painful
This IPL is effective. I have the ulike 10 already, and got this one to switch out. Honestly results are very similar without the ulike’s cooling.While IPL devices can be a very effective hair removal/reduction tool, there are limitations to its use. First, it works best on light skinned and dark haired individuals. Secondly, hair must be shaved or trimmed such that there is little to no hair above the skin but the hair root is still intact. It reduces the hair follicle underneath the skin. Therefore, when you initially use it, you should blitz the area multiple times a week as tolerated to be effective. This machine does that.

This laser hair removal looks like the photo. It does light up and but does not feel like it does anything.. I’ve had other devices and you can feel b the zaps, nothing painful but you feel it, this just doesn’t. I have not seen any results with the continual use.

Effective piece of equipment but use caution due to the laser’s brightness
This item isn’t bad, but it is a bit dangerous to use. The light that the laser emits is extremely powerful, and even if you don’t look directly at it, it’s still bright to the point where it could cause damage to your eyes. Although the manual says there’s a sunglasses provided, I didn’t see any in my packaging. So you have to buy it separately of course – make sure to look for “IPL 200nm2000nm” laser safety glasses.Actually using it is pretty easy. You plug it in and you focus on a part of your body with hair, and flash it a few times. The manual says you have to do it a few times a week and gradually less if the hair starts fading away. So far I’ve used it only a few times on my left leg (just to try it out) and the spot definitely looks less hairy than the same spot on my right leg. So there’s no doubt this product works.Still, be very careful with the eye protection when using this product.

Lightweight plastic, feels empty, controls are pretty straightforward
My wife used this for a little while and the jury is still out on how well it works. The controls are all pretty simple but even on the highest setting my wife doesn’t think it’s working very well. The package includes the glasses you definitely need to wear when you use the laser, a razor, and the power cord. Unfortunately the unit isn’t wireless or rechargeable so it needs to be plugged in at all times, and I wish the results were a little more obvious so we’d know how well it works.

Nice quality.
I have limited experience with IPLs but so far this device has worked as expected. I’ve been careful not to overuse it, and I’ve had no bad skin reactions. The device itself is nicely constructed. It’s made of quality materials. Is easy to use. And the directions are simple. There are different intensities, based on your skin type, and adjustable pulse modes. So far, I really like this device.
