Best mineral sunscreen I’ve found for Black skin
It’s an impossible task for a Black person to find a mineral sunscreen that doesn’t leave a white cast. This one’s not perfect, but the best I’ve found. It’s blendable so I’m able to rub it in enough to not leave a noticeable cast. It feels nice on the skin-not dry at all. You can maybe see a small tint but it’s easy to mix with other things and compared to the 1,000 other mineral sunscreens I’ve tried – leave the least tint/cast and feels nice on the skin. I really love it.

Favorite Sunscreen Ever
I love that it does not smell or feel like sunscreen. It feels more like a moisturizer/cream. I normally hate the smell and the texture of sunscreens, so this is amazing. It does have a very light white cast but it is so light that it almost looks like I have the Dr. Jart color corrector cream or light make up on. It is not sticky at all, so I love to put it all over my neck. I have been just wearing this sunscreen, put light power makeup and call it a day. It has not made me breakout either like most sunscreens do. My favorite sunscreen ever. I hope they never discontinue!!!

Fantastic sunscreen
One of my favorite sunscreens as someone with acne-prone, sensitive skin. This brand was recommended to me by the palest redhead I know and was the only one that didn’t sting while I was on Accutane. Feels like nothing while on, and this one does have a green tint that actually evens out redness. (Tho the color neutralization can result in a bit of a white cast for a while, but its great as a bas underneath makeup)

Nice feel for mineral sunscreen
I like this sunscreen. It feels very light and comfortable on my face, which is a top concern for me with a mineral sunscreen. It rubs in easily without tugging or pilling, and it doesn’t have much of a smell. My only complaint is that there’s very minimal redness reduction. I was hoping to replace my more expensive redness reducing Dr. Jart product with this one, but it doesn’t do a good enough job of that. I can see how this might have a white cast for folks with darker skin, but I have light skin and didn’t experience that. It does blend very well for a mineral sunscreen, so maybe it would work on darker skin after lots of blending. Overall, very good mineral sunscreen with a light feel and I will likely repurchase.

Elta MD dupe?
Ever since developing sensitivities to sone chemical filters, I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect mineral sunscreen. This isn’t it, but it ties with Elta MD UV recovery (the green one) for best so far. It’s a little thicker than the Elta MD, and the green tint isn’t as strong, but it leaves a very similar, barely noticeable (on my light-to-medium skin) white cast. It starts off scary, because it does NOT look like it’s going to blend in, but it sort of melts into the skin once you really start moving it around. The part I don’t care for is that it still makes my face a little shiny, and when I touch my face, I can feel it (I don’t wear anything on top of it — it might be different if you wear makeup). It definitely stays on top of the skin rather than sinking in like chemical filters do. But I’m still giving it 5 stars because I honestly don’t know if a mineral sunscreen that doesn’t do that even exists. And a5 this price, being every bit as good as the $50 stuff is pretty great.

Sunscreen for oily skin without white cast
Changed this from a 5 to 3 starI have been looking for a mineral sunscreen without a white cast for so long because my skin is very sensitive and reacts to chemical sunscreens if I put them on my face. I eventually got contact dermatitis from this around my eyes for 3 weeks and it was brutal. This sunscreen is not waterproof which means it’s only for winter because it’s too hot outside for it to be dripping down my face.I wish it was a little more lightweight, but it eventually left a dry finish on my face so I think that it’s great, especially compared to other sunscreens that leave an extremely glossy finish. I think they put a little bit of oil so it could rub in well, but again, left a “satin finish” so if a water base got rid of that I wouldn’t like it.I have darker skin, and this did not leave a white cast. I used the customary 2 finger widths for just my face. It took a while to rub in, but it was like 2-4 minutes before the blueish tint disappeared from my face, and by the time I left the house, no one could tell I was wearing sunscreen even in bright light. I tested it as soon as I got it on my hand, so that’s what I recommend for anyone who is skeptical. I am black, and not lightskin. For scent, I didn’t really smell anything so it wasn’t strong and that’s what I like.Overall, if you prefer mineral sunscreens that don’t leave a white cast, purchase this, but you have to balance it with the risk that it will get in your eye and start showing up the moment you sweat or get doused in water.

Best mineral sunscreen for melasma
This sunscreen has helped me regulate my melasma. I tried it because it also has zinc. It isn’t too thick so it’s easy to apply, and it doesn’t leave a white cast. The color correction is minimal but noticeable, it’s a nice added benefit. Not to mention the price is reasonable. Highly recommend.

Great purchase. Suits my skin, doesn’t leave white cast at all. .
