My Skin But Softer and Glowier
After falling in love with Erborian’s green CC cream for redness, I told myself I didn’t need another one.And then my brain immediately went, “Okay but what about the glowy one though?”So here we are. Zero self control. Very happy skin.My makeup routine these days is pretty low effort. I’m not doing full foundation, contour, bake, set, pray. I just want something that makes me look a little more even and awake without screaming “MAKEUP.” Basically, I want my skin to look like it had eight hours of sleep and drinks green juice. Even when it absolutely did not.Since my skin lightens up a lot in winter, I grabbed the Clair (fair/light) shade. When it first comes out of the tube it looks off-white with these tiny little speckles, which feels mildly suspicious at first. I had a tiny flashback to the green version like, “welp… trust the process.”And then it just… blends away.Like a quiet whisper into your skin.Within seconds it adjusted to my tone and evened everything out without looking like coverage. It doesn’t sit on top or mask your face. It just smooths and blurs things a bit so you look naturally put together. My freckles still show. My skin still looks like skin. Just softer and more balanced.The texture is one of my favorite parts. It feels more like skincare than makeup. Super lightweight, a little creamy, and really easy to move around. I just use my hands because the warmth helps it melt in faster. No brush, no sponge, no drama.It’s actually moisturizing too. My skin leans drier in the winter, and a lot of base products cling to lines or make me look flaky by noon. This doesn’t. It feels hydrating and comfortable all day, almost like I put on a light lotion with a tint. No cakey feeling, no settling into fine lines, no creasing.I also love that I don’t need a primer underneath. It smooths things out on its own, which saves me a step and five extra minutes.Wear time is solid for everyday life. As long as I’m not sweating through a gym session or gardening in Florida heat, it stays looking fresh all day. And at night it comes off easily with a gentle cleanser. No heavy scrubbing.The tube isn’t huge, but you use so little that it lasts forever. A small pea-sized amount covers my whole face. For $26, it feels like good value, especially since it’s kind of doing three jobs at once: light coverage, hydration, and SPF 25.Plus it has centella asiatica, which my skin already loves from my Korean skincare routine. Anything that helps calm redness while making me look glowy is automatically invited back.Overall it’s become my “lazy day, good skin” product. The kind you reach for when you want to look polished but still feel like yourself.Just me… but slightly blurred, softly glowing, and better rested than reality. Exactly the vibe I’m going for.

Almost Perfect (But Almost Isn’t Enough) For French-Korean skincare brand
As a huge fan and long-time user of Erborian’s CC Red corrector, I had sky-high expectations for this othe CC Cream product. What can you expect more than greatness from a Franco-Korean skincare brand? I’m all about that best-of-both-worlds approach to beauty!So naturally, I decided with complete confidence to try the Erborian Color Correcting CC Cream with Centella Asiatica Clair shade. Maybe I put my expectations too high.The good:The texture is beautifully creamy, the scent is delicate and light, and the overall feel on skin is lovely. I appreciate the SPF 25 protection, and the Centella Asiatica does feel soothing. The brand quality is undeniable – this is a premium skincare-makeup hybrid done right.The not-so-good:Here’s where it gets tricky – the color match. Both the Light and Doré shades (I also purchased the Doré shade) turned a bit strange on my skin, not quite matching my natural tone and a bit cakey. It’s not terrible, but it’s noticeable enough that I’ve gone back to mixing my classic moisturizer with foundation for that perfect custom CC blend.As a makeup primer, it’s also lacking compared to other French skincare brands. By day’s end, product tends to settle into fine lines – not cute!The surprise:My husband has claimed the Doré shade and uses it year-round with zero complaints. Go figure!My take:Great brand, quality formula, but the color chemistry just doesn’t work for everyone. Still solid at 4/5 stars because when Erborian gets it right, they really get it right (the CC Red Corrector does magic!).
