Jellystar 6 in1 Face Scrubber Honest Take After a Couple Weeks of Use
This Jellystar 6 in1 face scrubber is a solid little gadget for anyone wanting an easy upgrade to their cleansing routine without spending a fortune. I got the milk white one and it feels well made for the price. The handle is comfortable to hold, even when wet, and the LED display showing the battery level and speed is surprisingly handy. No more guessing if it’s about to die. It charges quick and lasts a long time. I have not had to recharge it nearly as often as I expected. The six heads give you options. The regular cleansing brush and the softer silicone one are my daily go tos. They spin smoothly and get my face way cleaner than washing by hand. Makeup, dirt, and that greasy feeling all come off without much effort. The massage head feels nice for a quick facial at the end of the day, and the exfoliating one works if my skin is not acting up. For sensitive skin, I would stick with the softest brush heads the plain silicone or the gentlest bristle one on the lowest speed. Anything firmer can feel too much if your skin is easily irritated. Start slow and see how you react. I have combination skin that sometimes gets fussy, and as long as I do not overdo it or use the rougher heads too often, it has been fine. No redness or tightness afterward when I pair it with a good moisturizer. The waterproof rating is legit. While this has some decent features, it really will only appease those who do not have a skin cleaning machine before trying…..This little scrubber is rechargeable, but can not be charged quickly. It has a power button and offers three separate speeds. The LED screen will tell you how much battery life you have available so you know when it gets low, while also showing you which speed you are on. Included is 6 attachable heads, each with a separate function. Instructions do not explain these heads or functions but this ad does. So, if you need to know, look above, in the center of the ad. One head is supposed to be course however, there is no course strip on mine. I just have 2 sets of soft brushes, both different bristle lengths. One short and one long, but no course scrubbing action.. The rest of the box includes a USB cable for charging and a book of instructions but only one page is for each language. This scrubber is also waterproof to an extent.If you do not have a face scrubber already, you might be happy with all the attachments and what it offers however, if you do have one already, this will feel like you are a beginner and just learning how to care for your skin.Even though this scrubber has three speeds, there is not much difference between them. They are slow, slower and slowest. The heads provided are soft but none really feel like they are cleaning your skin. They are all delicate and just spread soap or lather. It’s not unclogging pours or exfoliating but rubbing soap all over the surface. The only head I like is the massage one with rolling balls. Because it’s not cleaning, just rubbing on my skin and doing what it states….massaging my skin, is probably why I like it. The rest, are not really offering much value however, if you are currently not using anything, this is a benefit. It does get you started and good for a first timer.I would get it for a young teenager for their 10-14 birthday as a gift. Only if they do not need something stronger. If their skin is already decent, then this is just the thing. It starts them learning to care for their skin without being harsh. But if they should have skin trouble, then they will need something with more power behind it and the attachments.Overall, this is made well, and looks great while offering multiple attachments however, it’s lacking in quality of the power and attachments it offers. Great for teens but not for adults.
