I was honestly skeptical about this Drift Home Scent Diffuser Starter Kit in Teak because I’ve tried so many “long-lasting” diffusers that fizzle out quickly. But this one completely changed my mind—it has truly met (and surpassed) my expectations.The adjustable intensity levels (1–3) are a game-changer. You can customize the strength to fit the room or your preference, which most competitors lack. I started on a higher setting, and the bold Teak scent (rich teakwood, cedar, amber, and oakmoss) filled my space beautifully—so much so that I actually had to turn it down because it was almost too powerful (in the best way possible!).Best of all, after over two weeks of daily use, the oil level has barely dropped. I’m confident it will easily hit or exceed the advertised 30-day longevity on the highest setting, making it incredibly efficient and cost-effective.If you’re tired of weak or short-lived home fragrances, this is worth every penny. SMELLS AMAZING!!!!
I was debating between this and Pura but I ended up going with Drift and I was nervous to purchase because some of the comments say it doesn’t smell or they need multiple for their space because the smell doesn’t cover the area, I however have had the opposite experience and maybe it just depends on what scent you get. I got “Grove” and had a very large downstairs open area with a 2 sided living room area with couches and it’s completely open and leads to the kitchen and the single plug in I got filled the whole downstairs with the scent and I had it on the Low setting so it does smell for a large open area, it was a little overpowering but I think it’s because I have gone so many years without a plug in freshener I haven’t adjusted to always smelling it on but it isn’t unbearable and I have the windows open also to let the air circulate. Love it so far!!

Poor Value vs. reg air fresheners / You’ll need 2 or 3 plug ins @ $50-$60 per month (1000 sq/ft)
Overpriced.Does it smell good, yes.Is it a cool design? Yes.Does it waft through an entire 1000 sq/ft home? No. Would I need 2 of them? No….I’d likely need 3 of them to notice it through the house, and that comes at a price tag of about $60 a month.We use a simple Airwick, and the fresh linen scent is just as pleasant, just not as nice looking. Cost for the airsick is probably closer to $6-$7 a month, so purchase DRIFT if you simply like fancy stuff, or money means very little to you. That $60 is AFTER you invest $30 x 3 for the 3 starter kits. Then you’d have to purchase the refills once a month at $20 each. Ok…so there’s a sale, $45 each? That’s if you subscribe. I’m NOT cheap, own multiple homes and thought we’d give these a try. No idea on the longevity…..and the one we mounted only smells good in the hallway. It doesn’t even drift into the kitchen, or bedrooms. Of course it’s easy to use, it’s a plug in air freshener.PRO – looks cool and you can show off your high dollar air freshener to your friends. Take my advice, stick to the one for your car (if anything).Cons – all that other stuff.I love to love new stuff, but there’s zero chance I can love this for the price. This is all cool marketing, but you can save by doing the obvious (buy your fav (current) scents and leave this alone)

Amazing smell
love the teak. i ordered one and it covers most of my apartment. It is strong at first but give it a few minutes and it is amazing. I love coming home to the smell

This is my fifth purchase of a drift air freshener. A few months ago, my husband had to take his bosses car home for a test ride. He’s a mechanic. In the car was a drift car freshener. I went on and on about how awesome the car smelled. He told his boss about how his wife loved the smell of this car freshener and as a gift, his boss bought me one for my car and one for his carFlash forward I found out that they made essential oil air fresheners for your home and I purchased one to see if it would be just as amazing in my house. Well, it did not disappoint. I got the sent “Grove “. It smells like a basket of fresh oranges in my kitchen. I like that the diffuser has three settings, low medium and strong. I keep it on low most of the time and it is the perfect amount of scent.I have purchased one of the scents . Whether it was for my car or my home and I have not had one that I don’t like.

A tad pricey but it works. Plugged it in and within 5 minutes my house smelled wonderful. The scent is subtle but there. Not overpowering, fruity or flowery.

Lavender smells like men’s cologne. Pricey!
Not pleased with the fragrance, especially for the price. I hate Glade scents and this one unfortunately is not much better. I like that it is a healthier option, but on the lowest setting, it’s very strong and to me, does not smell like lavender, but smells like a men’s cologne. Pricey for a plug-in type air freshener, probably because of the packaging. It comes in a box similar to what an iPhone comes in. I’d like to try another cent, but I’m apprehensive because of the cost.

Update review. I have their subscription and love love love it. I recently found out Amazon sold the products too. Ordered just one extra in teak. It arrived unwrapped and leaking. Too difficult to get the DRIFT customer service link to work properly. No worries. Amazon customer service took care of it and sending me a replacement item. Will be ordering more.

The fragrance is so strong and definitely not natural. I set the box on the table, pluged it in & instant migraine. I threw the plug in part in a spare bedroom which left that smelly. I dump the perfume down the drains which left the bathroom not usable for two of us with asthma. It was so frustrating. I put the little perfume bottle in the dishwasher in hopes that the smell would disappear but now I have a stinky dishwasher and the smell has transferred to anything plastic that was in the load. In the end I sadly threw it out.
