I love this brand so when i needed a little heavier cream i decided to try this. I absolutely live it. It feels amazing on your skin. There is a slight tingle for just a few seconds, but my face feels si hydrated but nit greasy. I use it at night and live how my face feels. I love that it has ceremides in it. Another excellent Desert Essence product

Great for the Evening
This Desert Essence moisturizing ceramide facial cream is full of natural ingredients. It doesn’t contain an artificial fragrance. It has a nice, light, and natural scent that I really like. It’s not overly oily or greasy. It does leave a slight sheen on the skin so I use this cream in the evening after I take my bath or shower. Its consistency is that of a thicker lotion so it isn’t a heavy or thick cream. This cream is moisturizing but it’s not the most moisturizing cream ever, however, it’s great to apply and wear in the evening after a bath or shower because it’s not so greasy or oily.

I’ve used Desert Essence products for many years, they are popular at my local health food store because of the quality of natural ingredients, lack of allergens and no unnecessary fragrance. It’s a true fragrance free formula, and manufactured here in the States. This is a barrier cream due to the presence of ceramides which protect the skin layers from damage. I have very oily skin though, so this isn’t the best choice for my face. I do like it on my neck and on the back of my hands. It absorbs quickly and it isn’t overly thick or heavy. I think this is a good formula for normal or dry skin. A small amount goes a long way. Good quality as always from this brand. For the right person I will recommend this quality cream.

Non Greasy – No Breakouts – Natural Night Creme
I’ve used other products from Desert Essence as I like that they’re natural, limited ingredients, and typically good quality. This cream is something that I’ve never used before and was hopeful that it would be moisturizing in the evening. I will say that I waited almost a month to receive this cream, and when I got it, was excited to use it. I’ve tried it a couple times in the evening, after washing my face, and haven’t noticed much of a difference in the morning. Typically I like a cream that is light, but really soaks in to where I wake up with a fresh face; this one didn’t do that for me. It soaked in well, with a fresh, light scent, but when I woke up my face didn’t look moisturized, or plump. I may have to try for a longer period of time to see what effects it has, but so far, I don’t love it.

Unnecessary ingredients
The formula goes on a bit tacky but it absorbs well. The lactic acid was an unexpected plus on the ingredient list.I wish this cream was truly unscented. For a product that has so many nice ingredients, it is ruined by the fragrance. I would have rated it way higher if it were fragrance-free.

GREAT FOR DRY SKIN
I have not heard of this brand but I thought would try it as my face had been feeling extra dry. I used this cream now for almost a week. I don’t see much of aa difference in my skin yet but I feel that it does moisturize my skin and lasts all day. It feels good when applying. It does not have a “greasy” feeling after application. I apply in day after my shower and in the evening after cleansing my face. I like that it is made in the US and does have ingredients that are bad for your skin.

I’m very impressed!
I’m not easily impressed by creams and lotions. They always make big promises that are beyond what a cream can do. This cream is exceptional.First off, no scent, it is light and smooth and absorbs immediately. I have only been using it about a week now, and I can tell you, I was looking at my face before bed last night and thought I must be dreaming—extremely noticeable softening of lines. Especially the “elevens” between the brows. How is this even possible?I’m not going to question in and just keep using it. I am also very pleased that although it contains AHA, no redness or peeling. It really works!
