Good stuff!
My dermatologist turned me on to this and I couldn’t be happier with the results! It covers, protects & keeps the blisters/scrapes moisturized while they heal. Great value for the money. I apply it gently with a q-tip or wooden “spoon” twice a day with no irritation nor any inflamation. Fragrance free, easily absorbed (not greasy!) and it helps minimize the scarring. Good product!

Peeling Skin Rejuvenated!
I don’t usually write product reviews. However, after using CeraVe Healing Ointment on my hands after having a reaction to cleaning chemicals, I had to. My hands were peeling all over. I tried other repair lotions trying to get the peeling to stop. I used this product twice and the peeling went away. It moisturized my hand back to health. It seemed heavy after first but after 5-10 minutes it soaked into my skin and you could see the results. The peeling was gone completely in two days. Great for sensitive skin like mine and worked fast. I would highly recommend!

Great for cracked/dry skin
Great for the winter times. Really helps lock in the moisture on the skin and is highly suited for cracked/dry skin. The consistency is how you would describe petroleum jelly feel which is great because a small amount goes a long ways. I use it on my feet, after I shower, and especially on my hands and elbows to help lock in moisture. It’s not heavy if you use an appropriate amount. There is no scent to it and it’s easy to apply. Like i said, it’s got a petroleum jelly feel which i like because it lasts longer than moisturizer/lotion. Overall great product for those trying to keep the skin moisturized and protected from the elements such as the cold.. (we all know the cold can really cause dry/cracked hands. I even use it as chapstick. Love it.

My review is based on my jar purchased from 2022 that still works very well.I’ve been having some dryness on my feet and toes and recently decided to open up a jar purchased back in 2022.Ointment is highly moisturizing and my feet and toes are no longer dry and my skin is smooth to the touch. Also works great on my dry elbows.That being said. I am extremely disappointed that CeraVe changed their formula.I added a pic of ingredients of CeraVe’s “improved formula” against the label of my 2022 jar of ointment.As you can see they increased the petroleum percentage, added glycerin, less ceramides, less tocopherol, less panthenol.Just compare both ointment labels and you will see the difference on formulas.I hope CeraVe reads this and goes back to their original formula.

Great product
Great ointment, I from Utah and dry skin is very common. I put this all over my body even my face. Keeps my skin moist at least in the Utah weather, if you are in a different weather environment please test it first, it’s a thick consistency and might cause pimples for certain types of skin. For the price it’s worth it, and it last for months.

Works Extremely Good!
So the reason for the four stars and not five is the following. The description for this product states this does not leave a greasy feel or film. I have to disagree as it does leave a bit of a greasy film and feel. A little goes a very long way so start small and add more if you require it. This is what I do as I use this only for my hands due to sever dry hands from constant washing using a medicated hand wash for my skin condition that is only on my hands. This product works extremely good and is a life saver for my dry hand condition giving me hands that are soft again and do not feel like dry leather. I just started using this product on the date of this review as this is when I received it. I like it so much that I purchased the larger 12oz container for home and a 9oz container for taking with me when I’m out of the house to keep my hands feeling and looking their best. I do highly recommend this healing ointment as it does what is says with the exception of the greasy feel and film that it does leave on your skin. It is not a heavy amount but that will also depend on how much you use. I use a very light amount just enough to provide what I need for protect and hydrate my skin.

Excellent for very dry face
I bought this yesterday looking for a miracle for my dry dehydrated lines and pores on face. I always Do my makeup and makes me look so old no matter how much i moisturized. I used This before i went To sleep all over my face and woke up with a refreshed hydrated face! Even with putting making on after the makeup didn’t go into my dry lines and pores on my face at all!

I had a sample size of CeraVe Healing Ointment for a year now. Have tried to find a small size to carry with me. Amazon came to the rescue! 3 oz and I can carry it easily in my purse. Comes in a squeezable tube. The product works fantastically on my hands and feet. I was getting those weird little cuts and snags by my finger tips. Two nights of using the ointment, and the problems are soft and healing – no more snagging or cringing when washing my hands. Feet, let’s just say they are finally soft again.There are several size options, as mentioned I went with the 3 oz. There is not scent to the ointment at all. Goes on smoothly, isn’t greasy, and absorbs well.

I read a lot about this salve online before I purchase it and I was a bit skeptical because everyone seemed to rave about it but I have to agree with the consensus, it is great. You can basically put it on anything minor skin related and it soothes and heals. I have tried other balms but I like this one better because it seems very gentle but also powerful. Highly recommend!

This ointment is really a miracle for itchy skin! I been using benzoyl peroxide cleanser and I follow up with my A ret cream after skin care which caused my skin to be extremely dry and itchy at night time, it’s really working amazingly without clogging my pores or breaking out my skin!
