POSSIBLE FAULTY PUMP BUT I LOVEE THE CLEANSERR
I love this cleanser and for ME it’s a holy grail cleanser. It’s one of the only cleansers with few ingredients than most cleansers! I used to use a cleanser from Malezia and it was a clean product with no bad ingredients and no scent. You should try it out, but I would say to subscribe and order two to get free shipping and get the cleanser for 18 or 16 instead of 22 dollars. When I would use the Malezia cleanser it would kind of irritate my eyes, but that might’ve been because I didn’t moisturizer my eyelids enough. Anyway, when I used this cleanser it didn’t bother my eyes when a little would get into my eyes by accident, so that’s why I’ll probably be using it for the rest of my lifeee, and if they change the ingredients list to something worse then I’ll have to sadly go back to Malezia or find something elseeee…SOMETIMESSS it does have a faulty pump but what I do is keep a bottle from a cleanser that I finished and just pour the liquid in there. It sucks that sometimes it has a faulty pump, but for the price, quality, and quantity of the cleanser it’s definitely a stealll!!It’s never made my skin feel dry, but keep in mind that I have a skincare routine and keep my face moisturized.(SKINCARE ADVICE)If you wash your face then you obviously need to use a serum and moisturizer or just use a moisturizer. I use a hylaronic serum by Dr. Brenner. You can find it here on Amazon and it works for my skin. MY SKIN IS COMBO, so if you try the serum then it might not work for you. For a moisturizer I recommend using squalane oil if you are sensitive to moisturizers or any other oil as a moisturizer that you know that will not clog your pores. If your skin is not that sensitive then try the Dr. Althea moisturizer 345. I use it but only around my eyes and on my eyebags because I noticed that I breakout when I use it on my chin, cheeks, and forehead. Those are my oily areas, so that’s probably why I break out from it in those areas. I tried my mustache area but it kind of broke me out because I ended up getting a pimple next to my top lip.ALSO make sure to use a sunscreen MEANT for your face during the day to protect your skinnnn. I use one that’s spf 50 called Vilvah melt in milk sunscreen. it’s also MY HOLY GRAIL SUNSCREENNNN. It is one of the best sunscreens in my opinion because it doesn’t have a freaking long list of ingredients and has clean ingredients. It does have a little fragrance in it, so don’t try it if you are really allergic to fragrance. I buy it through Pushmycart because it is the cheapest price that I could find for myself. I live in the South Central Region of the USA so the shipping costs might differ if you are looking to buy it from Pushmycart. If you do buy it from Pushmycart and pay for the fastest shipment then make sure to email them asking if they can ship it in a timely manner. I’m saying this because the first time I bought the sunscreen from them they ended up shipping it until I emailed them and I had waited like 10 days for them to notify me that it was shipped. For me it shows that they ship the items from Texas if I remember correctly.I’ve also tried Purito Oat in Calming gel with my oil but it sadly never worked. It might’ve been because it was what I was first using when starting my skincare journey and it was a serum that I was using that was breaking me out, but either way I am never buying the Purito Gel cream and using ittt…Thank you for reading my review!!! Better Than Expected Makeup-Removing Gel Cleanser
Face cleansers are the foundation of a good skincare routine, which is why I’m always on the lookout for a non-drying, low-pH cleanser that can effectively remove makeup. I also need a cleanser capable of breaking down my favorite long-wear foundations. I’ve found that a well-formulated cleanser is especially important for removing makeup in shades that suit my medium-deep skin tone, which typically requires a three-step process.Enter the Burt’s Bees Balancing Gel Cleanser. I’m not usually into the whole “natural ingredients are better than chemicals” or “clean beauty” greenwashing, but I have enjoyed the few products I’ve tried from this brand in the past. I especially appreciate that this cleanser doesn’t really have a scent. Too many “clean” skincare products have overpowering fragrances or are packed with sensitizing essential oils.That said, I had fairly middling expectations for this face wash. While I do enjoy gel cleansers, I haven’t found many of them to be particularly effective. I definitely wasn’t expecting this one to perform as well as it did. I tested it after applying nearly a full face of makeup, including eyeshadow, swatches of a new cushion foundation I needed to try, long-wear eyeliner, and matte red lipstick topped with gloss. IYKYK how difficult red lipstick can be to remove. I also applied similar products to the backs of my hands as a comparison test.I tried washing the backs of my hands first, which didn’t work all that well. So imagine my surprise when a single wash removed all of the makeup from my face, including about 99% of the lipstick. I didn’t use any micellar water or wipes beforehand, and yet it still worked. It did require some emulsifying with water and hand movement to fully remove, but nothing excessive.My skin felt soft afterward, though slightly, but I’m not holding that against the cleanser. My combo-oily skin tends to feel a bit dry after cleansing, especially since I’m using tretinoin. A few hydrating steps easily take care of that. I’ll be continuing to test this cleanser with a full face of makeup and will update my review once I’ve spent more time with it.

OuncesLet me start off by saying, I love Burt’s Bee products. This gel cleanser is a great face cleaner. It is a clear gel cleanser. There is no scent to this cleanser so you don’t have to worry about a strong aroma while using this cleanser. The directions say to use one to two pumps. One pump is plenty. I used a silicone scrubber to wash my face using this gel. It worked well at removing makeup and daily debris from my face. My face felt soft after washing and drying my face. My face did feel a little tight after using this balancing gel cleanser, but after applying a bit of moisturizer, my face was fine. I have very sensitive skin. This cleanser did not bother my skin in any way. The price point for this cleanser is right in line with other basic cleansers out there. The Burt’s Bee brand did not disappoint.

This gel cleanser from Burt’s Bees is very gentle on my sensitive skin. I have not noticed any drying, irritation, or inflammation since using it. My skin feels clean and soft after using it, but I do make sure to apply a moisturizing natural oil after using it (just like I do with any cleanser). I have used various Burt’s Bees products over the years and have always found them to be high quality and effective, and this cleanser was no exception to that. Five stars.
