Irritated my skin
I was so disappointed this didn’t work for my skin. It was recommended by an esthetician. I used it twice (once in morning and once at night). The next day my skin was bumpy and irritated. It’s been a week since and it’s almost fully healed but not quite. This is marketed for sensitive skin but it’s not guaranteed that your individual skin won’t be irritated. However, because of the fewer ingredients it may help my narrow down allergies.

Not Worth it
this is extremely drying and not hydrating, it doesn’t quite do what it says. Yes, it feels good on the skin but it’s not worth it. There are better options out there

Says it’s for sensitive skin but it burns my skin to the point I can’t use it. I never have reactions to products but this I did.

feels heavy and doesn’t do much
so many people love this but i don’t get the hype. i have not had a reaction to the cream but it just isn’t worth the price to me. it’s not hydrating, doesn’t absorb well, and feels heavy on the skin. i don’t understand why it feels so heavy on the skin but it seems like a lighter cream when dispensed. i have to rub the cream in for a while for the white to disappear and for it to sit. it also just feels like it sits on top and doesn’t do anything. on hot days it feels like an occlusive waxy layer on my skin and just makes me feel gross. the moment i put it on my skin i had a feeling i wouldn’t like it but i gave it a week. it’s just not for me. much better products out there

Not Necessarily Hypoallergenic
Initially, my fiancé and I were happy with the results from this product, but my fiancé noticed eye twitching after the first use. After a few days, I noticed red dots under my eyes and a small welt so we looked up the ingredients on EWG (Skin Deep). Given that this product is advertised for sensitive eyes, we were stunned to find that some of the ingredients were known to cause allergic reactions. Look up cyclomethicone and triethanolamine before buying.

Not as sensitive skin safe as advertised
Not sure what’s going on with this product but was recommended it by a very natural path person that helps recovering skin barrier. My esthetician also said it was a good product. Used it for two weeks with like maybe a little itchiness (shoulda known by this it wasn’t good with my skin) as well as continuous breakouts (that I now think was from this product) and two weeks exactly from starting use it made me break out in a super red itchy rash that immediately subsided upon me washing it off. Must of had a delayed reaction although the slight itchiness was also an indicator (as well as the breakouts but I’ve never dealt with acne so I didn’t know how this worked 😂) I should listened to. I know everyone’s skin is different and what works for some may not work for others BUT if you have super sensitive and reactive skin like me and are trying to build up your skin barrier and you wanna try this I’d be super cautious and patch test for a good couple weeks before putting it all over your face.

Not as good as the old formula
I am so sad that they discontinued the old formula which I had been relying on for so many years. This new formula when I put it on my face for the first time, I immediately had the irritation feeling and it took my face around a week to get used to it and not having that much reaction to it. I may still purchase it in the future as a backup one but now I am looking for alternatives. For such a great product, why not just adding the new formula as an advanced product or creating separate new line? They probably have marketing concerns but for the loyal customers it’s really a big disappointment.

So greasy
I’m not sure how this could be noncomedogenic. It felt so greasy on my face, I couldn’t believe it had received such good reviews. I’ve never used a moisturizer that felt so thick and greasy, and I’ve tried MANY over the years! Maybe this would be good for someone 80 years old in need of massive moisture at night or something. I don’t get it. It went in the trash.

Noticeable difference in skin immediately! I recently changed diet, so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it, but my skin is very sensitive and I’m careful with soaps and creams and this went on beautifully. Light, moisturising, plain-ish fragrance which is excellent. I’m hoping I’ve found my fave cream for life…
