Not greasy, very moisturizing!
Wow, I bought this on a whim because it was a new product and I was very intrigued by their claim that it acts like a balm/ointment without being greasy. I was also looking for a product with glycerin because I wanted a humectant moisturizer (draws moisture into the skin). I get very dry skin around the corners of my nose and typically dab aquaphor there at night, but it wasn’t cutting it because aquaphor just kind of holds other moisture in but doesn’t add any on its own. This seemed like the best of both worlds (moisturizing and locking) and it has been!!It truly is not greasy and is very soothing. I also get eczema on the backs of my hands, and this made the BIGGEST difference this winter. The lack of grease was so helpful for my hands especially because I could use it during the day without worrying how my hands would feel while doing daily tasks. I think the colloidal oatmeal also helped my eczema.For this price, buy it!! It’s also lasted me with daily use since January (now mid April), and I’m not out yet.

Keeps hands from cracking
This is amazing stuff! I use it generously on my hands before going to bed because it is thick and a little greasy, but does a great job at moisturizing my hands and cuticles. No skin irritation or irritating scents, just soft skin.

Emergencies are taken care of by something simple but effective.
When my oldest son called me and told me that he was having skin problems I immediately ordered this lotion for him because I knew it would help him feel better. I asked him after a couple days if he was starting to feel any better and he said yes! Product quality is awesome and it’s not greasy at all so it doesn’t get on your clothing. The scent is really nice and it absorbs into your skin pretty quickly too. He was very happy with the purchases because I ordered him two tubes! No pictures unfortunately because I them mailed to his apartment.

Part of My Daily Routine
I’ve suffered from eczema all of my life and this is the first otc product that’s worked consistently since I discovered it 6 months ago. Perfect amount of moisturizing protection and absorption without being greasy. My hands are the softest they’ve been in years. Fragrance free and worth the money. Works great, but very sticky for me
I’ve been in the process of packing, moving and cleaning over the last month and my hands have taken a beating. I would wash my hands or get out of the shower and my hands felt like sandpaper. I usually use gold bond, but that was just not cutting it. In two days of using this my hands are so incredibly soft! I can’t believe it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was for me it is super sticky feeling. I think it depends on how much is used because when I apply it to my feet, I don’t have the sticky feeling in my hands. After putting it on my hands I try to leave it in for 20-30 minutes. If after that it is still sticky I was my hand with water which usually helps remove the sticky feeling and still leaves my hands smooth. From there I usually use my normal cold bond after.

UPDATE: 3/2026 Nothing has EVER worked like this product on my dry heels. Miraculous. So nice to have soft heels.This is a little unusual for an Aveeno Skin Relief product. I’m a constant user of some of the other products in this line. Initially I wasn’t sold on this new one because it’s a little “sticky”. (It held some fabric lint on my skin from clothing I was wearing.) But on my small test abrasion it seemed to work wonders on speeding up healing. I’m now using it on a large surgical incision, and, yes, it’s healing rapidly. Not greasy; glycerin is more on the tacky, thick end of balms. This protects and seals just as described. A winner for me.

Great for my eczema!
This moisturizer is totally different from anything else on the market. It’s phenomenal for drawing moisture into the skin and deeply nourishing skin. It’s very thick, so a little bit goes a long way and it’s a bit sticky until it soaks in. I also layer a petrolatum-based moisturizer over this one to seal in the moisture and that has been the SAUCE this winter!!!! I work in healthcare and am constantly washing and sanitizing my hands which flairs up my eczema something fierce. This moisturizer has been SO effective on my hands and lips that my eczema has been kept at bay since I started using it. Superb product and value for price point. I couldn’t recommend this more.
