Great Mineral Sunscreen
I live in Hawaii and was looking for a Mineral Sunscreen with a lower SPF. This works great and is reef safe as well. Even my dermatologist recommended it.

Left a slight white cast on darker skin tone
A little too thick and left a white cast on med dark skin. I like that’s it’s natural and spf 50. It has a fragrance and they saying was natural when I called to ask them about the product.

Inconsistent fragrance between batches?
I have used the SPF 30 in the past, which I received as a gift. My mom purchased it on a trip to Kauai, and brought some back for me. I really liked it, so I bought thought I’d try ordering from amazon. I meant to order SPF 30 again, but the bottle is the same color and I must have been in a hurry, because I accidentally ordered SPF 15. I decided to keep it and use it anyway, since it was my error.The texture is good. What I like about this sunscreen is it’s not as thick as some other natural sunscreens, so it rubs in much more easily.However, I don’t like the scent. The one I bought from amazon has a very strong, perfume-y fragrance. The one from Hawaii had a slightly lighter, fruitier scent to it, but it was still too strong/perfume-y for my taste. I wish they would do a subtler, natural scent, or an unscented option. They claim everything in it is 100% natural, but the scent does not smell natural to me at all, and is simply listed as “fragrance” on the ingredients list. If the fragrance is really natural, such as an essential oil, why can’t they just say what it is?The lotion hurts terribly if it gets in your eyes. I have not tried it with swimming yet, but I have accidentally touched my eyes after applying. I’m not sure if I’ll purchase again. It’s hard to find a natural sunscreen with all the right characteristics.

Non toxic and great for long sun days
I bought some at a nice resort in Hawaii, and liked it so much that I bought more when I came home. I like that it is reef safe and not toxic for your skin. It is perfect for a long day in the sun. It is too heavy to wear under makeup on a daily basis.

Great ingredients but disappointing
I bought this because I’m looking for a good, daily, clean ingredient sunscreen (not just Reef Safe but really clean, chemical free ingredients). The ingredient list is clean but your face will be so white you will looks like a clown. I had to actually use a wet paper towel to try to remove most of it before I was comfortable stepping outside and my face still looked white! I also have used the RAW sunscreen and I’m. Ot totally happy with it either, but it actually rubs in and leaves less whiteness than this product. There are some people who don’t mind the white face and walk around covered with zinc. If that’s you, I think you can feel good about the ingredients in this product but I’m just not that customer.
