Smelly strong in bag, but not very prominent when in the water. I would like it to be more strong when in tub. But, still happy to see masculine fragrances for my husband. He ordered more scents to try after using this one that was a valentine’s gift.

My wife and I use this at least 2-3x weekly. Smells great, is natural, etc. We switched to salts from bubble bath because, even though our soap was natural, it clogged our jets in our bathtub. Salt actually cleans our jets!My only critique is that I have a sensitive scalp prone to dandruff. Salt dries out my scalp way too much. We already put water softener salt in our bathing water and then this salt is in addition…so great soft, silky water…but it will dry your skin to the bone in places like a scalp. What I do is just rinse my hair with cups of water from the tub tap after bathing to rinse out the salty concentrate from the Epsom salts. Sorry for the long explanation…hope this helps someone!Totally worth the purchase!

Is it supposed to smell minty?
This was a gift for my husband for Valentine’s Day. He opened the package last night, and it smelled overwhelmingly like peppermint, to the point where I was wondering if the company put the wrong scented bath salts in the package. I do see peppermint oil listed as an ingredient on the package, but since it’s listed after cedarwood, frankincense, and eucalyptus oils, I would have expected those to be the more predominant scents.My husband still used the bath salts — obviously adding it to the bath diluted the minty smell considerably. He otherwise liked it, and he liked that it was very moisturizing for his skin. It’s just that we were expecting a more woodsy/musky scent, and that’s not at all what we got. I will definitely try out some of the other scents that this company offers though!
