Skin Feels Really Soft
I’ve used a lot of firming lotions but none of them left my skin feeling as soft as the Caudalie Vinosculpt. I’ve been using it for a week so far so I’m not sure about the firming part, but I can say my skin has never felt smoother. This gets absorbed quickly but my skin feels so hydrated. It is a bit thick and has a bit of a white residue so be sure to rub and pat it in well! I personally like this earthy kind of smell. I will definitely be buying this again!

Dreadful scent, lovely texture
Prior to ordering, I read some reviews about the strong and unpleasant scent, but I have a pretty tolerant nose for cosmetic fragrances – or so I thought. Caudalie: 1, Nose: 0.It has a silky consistency which feels great on skin and absorbs well but I couldn’t adjust to the funky smell – it’s too strong, too unpleasant and it gets onto my clothes and bedding to haunt me later. To me, it smells like a combo of botanical (like tea tree oil and mushrooms) and chemical (like mothballs).I didn’t manage to use it for long enough to see any results, so I can’t speak to that.

This is one of my favourite brand of cosmetics. I fell for resveratrol which is the natural ingredient occurring in grapes, and this is a powerful antioxidant which helps the signs of ageing. Not sure how effective the balm is as yet, as I am about to finish off the first pot but I love the smell, the consistency, and I know it helps to keep my skin well nourished. Probably will be able to see some results after the continuous use as nothing is a miracle cure for ageing, everything takes time unless you go for a scalpel 😉
