These are perfect for keeping/maintaining a sourdough “tiny starter”
These little jars are EXACTLY what I was looking for. I have recently taken up sourdough baking (which feels SO 2020!). I have had the typical issue of my starter getting too big, so I started following a woman who only keeps a “tiny starter” and then only grows it when needed to bake. Apparently, a key to keeping a tiny starter is to find an appropriately small, food-safe jar, which is trickier than I would have thought. I wanted something where I can leave the lid a little loose so that gas can escape while it is expanding on the countertop after I feed it, but that I can also seal up and have it be airtight and leak-proof between feedings when I keep it in my fridge. These really fit the bill. They are the perfect 4-oz size. The lid fits on them nicely and comes on and off smoothly and cleanly. For feeding, I just leave it slightly unscrewed, and then I put the lid all the way on for its time in the fridge. They weigh very little but still feel solidly made, with food-grade plastic, and quite durable (I have already dropped a full one on the floor, and neither the jar not the lid (nor the sourdough starter) suffered any damage). I love that the set has four jars, so I can use one for a plain starter, one for a whole wheat starter, and have two left over to swap the starters into when I feed them and need a clean jar. At this price point, for four of them of this quality, I find them a great value for the money. They will definitely keep my in sourdough bread for a good long time to come. I highly recommend them.

Quality plastic secure lids
These plastic jars come in a variety of different sizes and I chose the 2oz size.The price varies according to which size you choose and they are all very reasonably priced.I plan to use them when I travel for creams, lotions and extra medications.The plastic is perfectly clear and solid. It will not crack easily.The lids screw on tightly and they have a foam lining for an extra tight seal for security.I tested it by putting water in it and turning it on its side over and over and no water leaked out so I feel completely comfortable using these for liquids too.I was impressed that they even come with four labels too, very convenient!These would also be great for storing craft supplies like beads, gems and glass pebbles. Anyone that crafts would find many more uses for them than I could list.I think they are fantastic and I highly recommend them. They deserve all five stars.

They don’t leak!
I ordered these 6oz plastic jars to use as pool sample jars. They are water tight and work well for that purpose.It comes with 4 jars and 4 lids. They are thick enough to hold their shape on their own, and wouldn’t crush under normal conditions.The lid has a paper type seal to help prevent leaks, so these would be useful for liquids or creams.I deducted one star for price, compared to other brands these seem over priced for the quantity received.Overall, a good choice if you only need a few of these.

Nice and practical small sample bottles ready to use.
I received four tiny bottles (2 oz), and they are pretty much what I expected. They are clean, the lid closes well, and overall, the material feels good enough. I am using these tiny bottles to give out samples… so it is very practical for me to have them. I just need four for now, but when the time comes, I will buy in bulk.It is pretty much what they show on this page… the quality feels good, and I like the nice shiny material. I am happy with what I got.
