Finally, a fit for a 40 y.o. with combination skin
40 is just around the corner and when I tell you the last two years has been a struggle to find any foundation that works for my (now) combination skin has been a struggle… It’s far from an exhaggeration. Anything “dewy” looks greasy on my T zone by noon, slips off my face, settles in my fine lines or turns my “dewy glow” into uneven grease ball really quick. Loose powders/minerals define my texture and wrinkles or sits cakey on my face and shows every dry area possible (I was always a bare minerals Girly). Matte liquid would look blotchy, settle in my wrinkles, look like pounds of makeup AND show off any texture. I’ve tried em all. From Designer to Drugstore. Doesn’t matter, they just haven’t been working. But this … FINALLY, a foundation that is somehow right in the middle zone that I can work with!! Applying it with a damn sponge provides the best skin like look on me. It stayed the entire day. Pair it with the make em wonder cherry setting powde🤌. I’m beyond relieved to find something doable. Not saying this is the best product in the world, but it’s the only one I found in the past 2 years that I even cared to work with. The color is off, which is disappointing, but now I know and can just get something one shade darker than my complexion and (hopefully) mix it with the light ivory I now have and hopefully it lands. The light ivory that I purchased was way too light for me, even though it was a promising neutral toned match using their recommended color matching. I’d suggest going with one shade darker than you would normally if you’re in the light skinned ranges. The coverage is buildable. Using fingers gives ya a thicker, heavier application. Damp Sponge is a lighter, more even coverage and using a brush is right in the middle. You have to work quickly though as it dries pretty quick. Also seems to keep the oily T zone looking a little less oily throughout the day. I sweat pretty bad sometimes and this doesn’t just melt off my face!Definitely Very Satisfied with the quality and application and would absolutely recommend trying this inexpensive foundation.

A great affordable option
Shade True Beige 14I love using NYX products and when I saw their new foundation collection release I RAN to purchase. I needed a full coverage foundation (I compete for 14 hours). It covered my red splotches and my hyperpigmentation. The quality is great though you have to blend it out as soon as it touches your skin to avoid clinging to the area. I applied with both a brush and a sponge. Both did the job and there wasn’t a huge difference! It didn’t enhance my texture which is what a lot of matte foundations tend to do. The finish was a velvety one! Best 15 dollars spent!

If you would have given this foundation to me in an unmarked bottle, I would have guessed it was a high-end product. This foundation lays beautifully on the skin and it lasts ALL DAY. Usually, my makeup will rub off especially in the chin area throughout the day, but this one does not. You can put a light layer for a nice skin-like medium coverage or you can build it up for high coverage. If you build it up, I would probably use a pore primer.The only negatives I have to say is that I hate the bottle because it sometimes leaks out of the top. The other thing is that I ordered a color I thought would match before this and it was WAYYYY too light. I had to go on youtube and look up people with similar skin tone to mine to see what color they used because NYX’s guidance is not very good at all from their photos.

Great coverage
I’ve been using the NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Make ’Em Wonder Liquid Foundation (Shade 26 Honey) and overall, I enjoy the formula, but it does have a few drawbacks.The coverage is definitely a highlight. It applies smoothly and offers medium coverage that is easily buildable to full without looking heavy or cakey. The soft matte finish looks great on the skin and wears well throughout the day. That said, I did notice that it oxidizes slightly after application, so I recommend keeping that in mind when choosing your shade.My main issue is that it is not transfer proof. Even after setting with powder, it still transfers, which was disappointing for a foundation marketed as long-wear.Overall, it’s a solid foundation with great coverage and a nice finish, but because it’s not transfer proof, I’m giving it 3 stars.

I bought this originally as a back up for a new pricier name brand foundation i was going to try, and indeed i did not like the “expensive” founi bought. I fell in love with this back up instead! 😍 i ordered a second one just in case they start selling out! Its great for either oily/dry skin, pair it with a water based primer and its great long lasting coverage. The color match and shade range is phenomenal. Love NYX 👄

Many drawbacks
I’ve been wearing this for 4 months now, and I loved it at first. It doesn’t seem to break me out and is nicely pigmented. It wears nicely for the first few hours on my oily, acne prone skin, but there are several drawbacks.For one, I use 2 brushes and a sponge to spread this foundation and get it to look even. It’s still weird to blend by my hairline and will move out of place over areas on my forehead that are slightly darker than the foundation and the rest of my face, so it slides around. It definitely takes a lot of work to get even, so don’t get this if you like a quick application. It also does not want to stay put on my nose and separates over my pores leaving gross little holes on it; I have trypophobia so that gets triggered. It never really dries down. It just feels eternally wet and rubs off like crazy on collars even after setting it. I haven’t noticed much of a difference with the state of my skin, so I feel the serum aspect is a gimmick. This foundation also oxidizes so although I may look lighter at first, it turns closer to my skin tone in less than an hour.Plus, I’ve tried 3 different primers, used 4 different setting powders, and a setting spray (all mid-range to drugstore) to prevent it from wearing down below my nostrils and chin; it does this even when I don’t touch those areas.I’ll be on the hunt for something else.

This foundation is a winner! A little bit can get you full coverage, it doesn’t transfer, it handles sweat like a champ no melting and it’s very lightweight and fragrance free. My favourite foundation so far

Bin so begeistert von dieser Foundation.Vorab jeder muss selber testen ob dieses Profukt mit seiner Haut funktioniert. Diese funktioniert bei mir allerdings richtig gut.Tolle deckkraft und tolles auftrage Gefühl. Dieses Make up halt mit Fixingspray bei mir locker 12stunden und länger ohne das sie komisch wird.Es gibt ein leichtes Nachdunkeln weshalb ich nach 02 noch diese in 01 bestellt habe. 01 ist wirklich hell deshalb mische ich mir nun aus den beiden den für mich passenden Ton, bzw. setze ich den hellen Ton dort hin wo es heller sein soll.Für mich jetzt schon ein lieblingsprodukt und ich hoffe das die bald auch überall im Handel zu bekommen ist.Ich benutze seit dem kein concealer mehr was natürlich praktisch ist wenn man bereits Fältchen hat.
