    Best Face Sunscreen Ever
Holy grail of sunscreen. I have been on a quest for the best sunscreen for my face that does not leave a white cast for years. This sunscreen is truly sheer coverage but high SPF. Does not make my sensitive skin break out. Able to apply more for more coverage. Tons of color options. No fragrance or shimmer. Looks great under makeup. I have purchased several and recommend it to anyone. I have had no issues with applying this on top of serums and moisturizers either. So glad I found this product finally. I have tried so many other expensive facial SPFs (Like Supergoop Unseen and ColorScience) and this one is the by far the best.

★★★★★ My New Go-To for Effortless Glow!
The e.l.f. Halo Glow Skin Tint SPF 50 in 4 Light Neutral is everything I’ve been looking for in a lightweight, everyday base! It gives just the right amount of light-to-medium coverage that evens out my skin tone without feeling heavy or cakey. The finish is radiant but not shiny — just a healthy, natural glow that looks like skin.I love that it includes SPF 50, so I’m getting sun protection while simplifying my routine. It blends beautifully with a sponge or fingers, and it layers well with other products like concealer or blush. Best of all, it’s vegan and cruelty-free, which is super important to me.This is now my go-to for those “no makeup” makeup days or even when I want to build up coverage for a more polished look. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a breathable, glowy skin tint with solid SPF protection!

Overall good with a couple of issues
Beauty products are such a personal choice. What works for one person won’t work for another. That said, here is my experience with Elf SPF TintProHigh SPF 50 mineral sunscreenTint available in several shadesMade in USA. (A lot do Elf products are Made in China)Smooth consistency. Not too thick or not runny.Did not cause any issues with my sensitive skin. Did not I burn. Did not cause eye issues. Did not settle into fine lines and I have quite a few.Cons for meSlight Play Dough like scentA very minor grainy feel. And I mean very minor but I felt it.Covered well but was somewhat chalky to me. Not overly but it’s there and I could see it. I do prep with a very light moisturizer that drys down quickly.Overall this product did not look good on my face. I am 68 and I wear a Tinted SPF as a daily Make Up. I don’t wear foundation.Overall this is a nice product minus the vague smell and minor graininess. It will probably work for younger skin.

    Good but overpriced
Paying this much for an Elf product is crazy but I did it after a coworker raved about it. It’s a good skin tint. Very light coverage, blends well, looks natural, gives some glow to the skin and evens things out. Remember this is a tint so do not expect much coverage. It’s basically a tinted moisturizer without the moisture. It is very comfortable on the skin and I don’t feel like I’m wearing makeup. I find it slightly oily but not too bad. It does not last as long as other drugstore skin tints I’ve tried so I will likely not repurchase.I do think the price for a drugstore product is insane. It’s almost as expensive as a lot of non-drugstore foundations at this point. I can purchase several other skin tints from other drugstore brands that work better or as well and cost at least $5 less than this one. What happened to Elf being about affordable products?

Checks a lot of the boxes for 35+, rosacea, pale skin
I was looking for a lighter weight foundation that provided ample redness coverage, had staying power, and SPF. Other brands you usually get 2 of 3 of those at best. Really happy to have found this – it goes out a little thicker than a typical tinted moisturizer but it pays off in the coverage. With setting spray and powder it lasts all day and doesn’t cake up. This is a little bit more expensive than the typical elf product but the quality justifies it. On a side note, I really like the applicator. You think it won’t squeeze, but it does! Very cool and sturdy.

    Great product
I have fair skin that freckles. I have a great tan with pink/red undertones. This shade is good, just a little lighter for my tanned skin. I’m choosing #11 for a slightly darker color. The texture is semi matte, not as heavy as full coverage. I like the SPF when I’m out in the sun all day. I use a damp cosmetic sponge to apply.

    It’s a no
It’s a cult favorite that didn’t work for me at all. I’m a light neutral-cool, with dry skin. 47 years old. Some texture. My skincare combats the dry really well. Somehow, despite good prep, this skin tint texture brings out both the greasy places on my skin and the dry patches, both in an unflattering way. This skin tint sits on top of my skin and looks masklike and harsh. Light-cool is very peachy, much too peachy for pink undertones and comes across sallow (pic is light-cool – product applied to half my face). Light-neutral is far too yellow. So – sad to say this one’s a fail for me. Just wrong for my skin I guess.

Just a little goes a long way!
A little goes a Very long way! It also runs very light. I initially ordered the Fair/neutral, but it was definitely for more ivory or porcelain skin. I tried the Light/neutral and it matches my complexion perfectly! It provides a good protective layer, and has a matte finish. I would suggest using a setting spray if you want a more natural or dewy look. Overall I am happy with this purchase, especially for the price!

Disappointed after what I’ve read about this.

Weird smell, it didn’t had any seal, it came open already, it seems it’s not original

Fabulous product price was good aswell would recommend

A lovely tint, more of a foundation, good coverage with a lovely texture, gives skin a lovely radiance, would buy again

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this tint matched my skin tone. The undertone is balanced—not too yellow or pink—so it blended seamlessly without leaving a gray or orange cast. The texture is lightweight and breathable, giving a healthy, dewy finish that looks like real skin rather than makeup. As someone with acne‑prone skin, I’m picky about base products, but this wore comfortably throughout the day. It didn’t clog my pores or trigger breakouts, and it played nicely with my usual salicylic acid and niacinamide routine. Coverage is light to light‑medium—enough to even out redness and soften blemish marks without masking skin. It also layers well: one layer for a fresh, sheer look or a second pass in the T‑zone for a bit more polish. The SPF 50 is a major plus for daily wear (though I still use a dedicated sunscreen underneath for full protection). It didn’t pill over skincare, and it set down enough that it didn’t feel sticky—just a natural glow. I got the best results applying with fingers and gently pressing it in; a damp sponge sheers it out more if you want extra light coverage.Pros:Shade match and undertone are forgiving and adaptableLightweight, breathable feel with a healthy glowFriendly to acne‑prone skin; didn’t cause congestion for meSPF 50 for added sun protectionPlays well with skincare and layers without cakingConsiderations:Dewy finish may need a light set with powder on oily areasLight coverage won’t fully conceal active blemishes—pair with concealer if neededOverall, this is an easy, affordable winner for everyday, natural‑skin makeup—especially if you’re acne‑prone and want something that evens tone without suffocating your skin.
