High quality at home microcurrent machine
I was honestly intimidated to try this machine at first. I kept imagining something like a TENS unit for the face, and I put off using it because of that. Once I finally sat down with it, I realized it was nothing like that at all, and I regret waiting. The kit comes with an instruction manual that is surprisingly high quality. It is detailed, clear, and full of pictures that show exactly how to target different areas of the face and neck. I rely on it heavily, and I will probably keep pulling it out every time I use the device until the routine becomes second nature. My first full treatment took me forty seven minutes from start to finish because I followed every step exactly as written. Later sessions have been faster simply because I have a better sense of what I am doing. The treatment itself feels very gentle. Most of the time I could hardly tell the probes were doing anything. The only time I felt anything noticeable was when I passed over a blemish, and even that was mild. What I did notice was a metallic taste in my mouth when working around that area, which I have since learned is a normal microcurrent sensation. The kit includes everything you need to get started. The conductive gel works well, but it dries quickly. During my first session I kept adding more and more gel. I realized my face felt super slimy and slippery when I washed it off. That taught me that I can reactivate the conductive gel by spritzing water instead of piling on more product. After my first treatment I examined my face closely. The change was subtle, but I thought I looked a little less puffy. Nothing dramatic, but enough to make me curious to keep going. I would not call the treatment relaxing yet because I am still following along in the manual, but I can see it becoming more calming once I no longer need to reference instructions so closely. There is definitely a learning curve. I did much better on the Erase setting than the others. Learning to isolate a muscle for the pinch and hold technique on the Educate setting took several tries. It felt awkward at first, but it improved each time I practiced. The QR code in the manual links to educational videos, and watching someone demonstrate the movements helped everything click. The device itself feels solid and well made. The buttons are simple and the screen is clear and easy to read. The probes glide smoothly over the skin when the gel is freshly applied. The probes come tightly connected at first, but I gently pulled the wires apart to make them easier to maneuver. I was impressed that the machine arrived fully charged, and the battery life has been excellent. I have not had it fade or weaken during a session. As a forty nine year old woman, I am using the device two to three times per week, usually in the evening before bed. The masks are great on nights when I do not have the time or energy for a full manual session. They take all the work out of the treatment and let me get the benefits without concentrating on technique.

This review is for Myolift 7e Wellness MyoLift TriWave Microcurrent Facial Device for Face Lifting & Toning with Conductive Gel, Probes, Masks – 3-Wave Technology for Skin Firming, Smoothing & Circulation – Face & Neck Care.The kit comes with a large base which actually supplies the current and has the readout in a large backlit manner. I love that it is so easy to read. It also has two sets of connectors. One set is for the wands and the other set connects to the individual masks. The smaller masks are only good for 10 uses according to the directions…I’m not sure why you can’t get more uses out of them but I am not close to using all of them up as yet.I plugged in the wands first, without reading the directions and used them on bare skin. I was on the ‘educate’ setting…which does not make sense unless you read the manual. The other settings are called ‘erase’ and ‘rejuv’ and they are not self explanatory…so that is something they could work on. I felt some mild stinging with the wands when they stayed on the skin in one spot. I later learned you need to move the wands around in slow deep strokes and the gel certainly made this easier than on dry skin. The sensation I mentioned earlier is like a slight pinprick but it is not painful…it is just something I was aware of where the wand touched.I later used the forehead mask after reading through the directions and had an easier time. I could still feel the tingling/pinpricks on the lowest setting so I think I would not want to move to a higher intensity until I’ve used each tool for multiple settings.I use one tool per day, at night while watching tv so it will take a while to see results. I know some people would use just one tool every day (or all of them) but I want to give my skin a break.You can set any time you wish for a treatment but they do recommend certain amounts of time for each thing to see results. I did all my initial trials at 5 minutes then increased by 5 minutes each day. This can be a time consuming process as you need to sit with the machine if using the wands. If you are using the masks then you could possibly walk around with the machine if you could find a way to hold it. It is quite a large machine, about the size of 2 cell phones, so good luck finding a way to carry that size. It is light though so weight is not an issue.At a price of $636, I think this is a hefty layout for skin care and it is beyond the reach of many people.

Always heard of microcurrent but didn’t fancy trying it out as it adds up when doing it at a salon. So glad to have been able to try this and it’s made such a difference. Noticeable muscle stimulation from this but it’s gentle pulsing and tightening. Been using it for weeks now almost daily and my jawline has improved and under eye puffiness.Build quality is really well made, seems like something you would find in a salon, very easy to use. Is expensive, but once you factor in not needing to go to a salon and being able to use it as frequently as you want, it is more than worth the price.

I confess that when I ordered this device it was with a healthy amount of scepticism. I have deep set nasolabial lines that no cream, serum or supplement has managed to diminish.I inspected the device when it arrived and was surprised it to be bigger than I had anticipated from the product photos. It is similar in size to a full sized blood pressure monitor. Life got busy so I didn’t end up using right away even though I watched videos on how to use at the time.Anyway I had planned to write a review after testing for a few weeks. But I am pleasantly surprised by the effects of just one treatment. I got my daughter to run through the three programmes while I relaxed. At first I wondered if the device was working as I couldn’t feel anything but whenever the probes were applied on my cheeks and any other areas near to my mouth I felt a metallic sensation inside my mouth. Also when I had my eyes closed I could sense blue flashes through my eyelids on my cheeks.She worked her way through all three levels, working on my neck, cheeks and forehead. Included are a tub of gel to use with the probes and a spray to keep the gel moist – the waves work best through the gel. After running through the three programmes – Rejuv first, then Erase, then Educate. This sequence prepares the skin, relaxes muscles, and finishes with toning. After finishing she wiped off the remaining gel and applied a moisturiser. I wasn’t particularly impressed at the time.However I looked up information online and it turns out that the metallic effect is a sign that the device is working and transmitting effectively. Which is great as I would prefer that to feeling an electric current sensation!But the biggest surprise was when I checked my face in the mirror. I was genuinely surprised that the nasolabial lines didn’t look as pronounced. Now I am not at all claiming that they have faded and I fully expect this to be a temporary effect. Also the equally deep lines on my throat look unchanged.But this unexpected result has encouraged me to use this device regularly over the next month or so for any further changes. I am planning to try and maintain a routine of 2-3 times a week. It doesn’t actually take very long. Because it was the first time, and we were still trying to figure out how to do each programme it was probably a few minutes longer than the average 5-10 minutes needed.I understand that regular use can lead to visible softening after 2-4 weeks, with deeper lines improving gradually via muscle toning and plumping, over a longer period of time. And of course lines will not be permanently erased. But if I can see some visible improvement this will be more than enough for me.Update to follow, whether or not there is any further improvement.

I feel that at my age I should be looking after my skin a bit more so decided to give this a try. Firstly, this is a fairly intimidating piece of kit. Luckily there are some good instructions as well as a good bit of information online on how to use it! In the box you do get everything you need to get going, as well as the device, you get conductive gel, the device, plus all the other bits you need to get going. This is something you need to learn how to use and it does take time. It’s not a magic pill and solution and you need to use it regularly. Once you have used it a couple of times you can start to remember the steps and hopefully in the long run, a better looking face and skin! It uses microc urrents, which sounds intimidating, but don’t worry, it’s not like getting an electric shock as I was feeling a bit apprehensive about when I firs used it. Over the long run, these devices do give good reviews, this is a high quality product in the category so no doubt I will be seeing results over the course of the next few months!

I’ve been using this consistently for a few weeks and am happy with the quality of the machine and accessories, although it’s not perfect and can’t see definitive results from my usage. I started using it twice a week after cleansing and applying the gel, using the probes along my face, it’s not painful and actually feels somewhat relaxing for my muscles. The sensation was odd at first but you will get used to it with repeat usage. Do note that this does not have a UK plug from my unit so an adapter is likely needed. It is a premium product and there is probably some benefit but for me personally, I don’t see it but I am younger and may need to use for longer

This item doesn’t, it has an American plug. That means you’ll need to purchase a US to UK adapter. The device is actually rechargeable so it doesn’t need to be plugged in all the time.The device looks like a cheap and chunky Nintendo Game Boy to me. The price (currently £463) and the quality of the product are worlds apart. Do I believe this machine will improve my skin…? The answer is no.The masks you put on your face can be used up to 10 times before you need to purchase new ones.I don’t know whether my box was a returned item, as the box wasn’t sealed, internal packaging was torn, and the bottle of Spritzer is missing.Wouldn’t recommend.
